Why I Deleted Pinterest

It sucked.
It subscribed me to a whole bunch of useless feeds where my pinstream was filled with utter garbage. Who pins the title screens to movies? This fucking guy https://pinterest.com/funnel_erickass/vintage-film-titles/ that’s who. Why the hell would I want to look at that? What would make Pinterest think that I would ever be interested in something so mundane?
Then there was this gent http://pinterest.com/tempspaz/ who is from Cincinnati, and now lives in Philly. Was I supposed to have anything in common with him, aside from his baseball team’s logo looking exactly like my football team’s logo?
What service does this? Why am I opted into things? Why and how were people finding me via facebook, even though I’d changed my settings to prohibit people finding me on facebook and twitter? I’m sure Pinterest is great if you don’t understand the interwebs and you just want a bunch of pictures of food, dresses, and vintage film title screens.
